Worship this Sunday at 9 and 11am, with Sunday School for all ages!

Advent & Christmas 2024
@ Arcola Church

Join us for a month-long celebration of the birth of Jesus! We're exploring the reasons we "Sing Christmas!" in our Advent sermon series; pulling out all the stops at our Christmas Fest and Live Nativity; remembering those we love at our A Night of Hope remembrance service; and ringing in Christmas with candlelight, carols, Communion, and children's worship on December 24.

We will read and tell the familiar story of the birth of Jesus and be reminded once again of the importance of living in the light of Christ all year. We look forward to celebrating this season with you!

See below for worship times, and event dates and details!

Sing Christmas! Advent Sermon Series

On the night Jesus was born, the world was given a perfect song by our Creator with the promise of eternal hope and joy. This is our reason to Sing Christmas! You're invited to worship Dec. 1 - Dec. 23 - Sundays at 9 and 11am, Wednesdays at 11:30am, plus a special Christmas Choral Cantata at 11am Dec. 23 - as we lift our voices to celebrate the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Worship This Christmas

December Events

We love to celebrate Christmas as a community, and you're invited for cookie and ornament exchanges, musical performances, and more fun and festivity throughout the month of December.

Christmas Eve Worship

Join us for a celebration of the Christ Child come to Earth! We will read and tell the familiar story of the birth of Jesus and be reminded once again of the importance of living in the light of Christ all year. Our 11am Christmas Eve service is children-focused, with a fun nativity duck retelling of the Christmas story (plus audience participation!), along with Communion and singing Silent Night. Music, Communion, and Silent Night sung by candlelight are a part of the rest of our Christmas worship services. We look forward to seeing you to ring in Christmas!
