Homeless Shelter Dinner
Sunday at 4:00 PM
You can fight spiritual, emotional, and physical hunger in your community by being part of our Serve Team efforts, where we focus on making a difference for our neighbors through a variety of partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and giving efforts. See below for current and upcoming service efforts.
Giving donations to benefit local families through the link below will go to the Serve Team to meet immediate and ongoing needs for our neighbors. Or become part of the Serve Team and help organize these efforts!
Arcola created a personal hygiene pantry at Shreveport Ridge Apartments that provides residents with much-needed, full-size personal hygiene items. The pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Volunteer your time, donate items, or make a financial contribution.

On the 3rd Sunday of each month Arcola is responsible for feeding a lasagna dinner to the residents at the Loudoun Homeless Shelter. Volunteers simply need to make a dinner for 10 people (frozen lasagna is fine!) and deliver it to the church. Instructions are provided on the sign up to make it as easy as possible.

Visit the Upcoming Serve Events page to see if there is a greeting scheduled, or email Carole Salgado if you would like to be on the contact list.
Gift cards are collected throughout the year and provided to the parent liaisons for distribution to their supported families. These gift cards are used for food, clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, gas, etc. throughout the year. You can make a contribution directly to the church and indicate “Parent Liaison Giving Tree” or send gift cards to Carole Salgado. $25 denominations preferred.
Sign up to go Christmas caroling in a group throughout our local community. There will be numerous groups and several locations. We’ll meet for fellowship after caroling.
