Serving Others

Serving Others Sunday is our opportunity, as a church, to choose how we will be the hands and feet of Jesus to impact lives in our church building, our community, and around the world. We dedicate a Sunday each year to this important effort.

How are you called to serve others?  Choose what you're saying "yes" to on the form below, and our ministry leaders will send you the next steps. See descriptions of some of these serving opportunities below the form.

Worship & Arts - Serving on Sundays

Scripture Readers and Communion Servers

Scripture readers read or record the Scripture passage for worship; this role is for all ages.
Communion Servers serve the bread and the cup to the congregation once the elements have been blessed. This role is for grades 6th -adult.

Ushers , Greeters, and Parking Team

Greeters greet congregants as they enter the building, and encourage newcomers to our worship to fill out online visitor cards by using the QR codes.
Ushers assist in seating everyone in the Great Room for worship, closing doors upon the start of the service, and  guiding congregational movement such as during Communion.
The Parking Team serves on special days, like Easter and major events, where overflow crowds are expected.

AV Team

The future of worship is already online - is God calling you to use your audio, video, and technical knowledge as part of this amazing team that keeps us reaching people for Jesus around the world? Contact Chris Durbin to learn more about spending flexible Wednesdays and Sundays making worship sound and look good, both in-person and online.
