Meet The Directors

Tianna Durbin, Summer in the Arts Director

Tianna and her co-director Jenn Roberts were both inspired to craft a summer camp with a focus on performing and visual arts about 8 years ago. It is the value of how various art forms impact our lives and just make everything better. I recognize the benefit of the arts and the connection to our souls. I lead an arts camp because I want everyone, regardless of age, to experience the richness and quality of life that the arts ushers in. Everyone has the potential and capability to be an artist--it is part of our soul work. Everyone is an artist!

Deb Porter, Summer in the Arts Co-Director

Our goal is to inspire artists of all ages to discover their creativity through the performing and visual arts.  My hope is that our students have a lot of fun while learning new skills that improve the quality of their lives.  I'm inspired each year by hearing our students'  laughter and seeing their joyful smiles! I look forward to meeting new campers this summer and greeting those that have returned year after year.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for campers with financial need. Request for scholarships must come through the Deborah Taylor, Director of Serve. Coordinators of programs must inform the DOS of the amount allotted. The preferred scholarship amount is half of the amount of the activity and can be adjusted in order for the individual to attend. The requesting family must share economic hardship and if the scholarship is not utilized properly, the individual will not be considered for future scholarships. Economic hardship is demonstrated by confirmation that the family is working with a family liasison, they have free and reduced lunch approval, and they are receiving government financial aid.
