Angel Tree

Adopt a family in need from our local schools, and give your time to help with gift receiving and pickup!

Help a local family with necessities and gifts this Christmas through our annual Angel Tree giving effort. The parent liaisons at our local schools have families that need our help, requesting everything from socks and coats to toys, perfume, and gift cards.

Adopt an Angel Tree Recipient

To adopt an individual or family, please visit the Signup Genius above via the button above, and choose your recipient(s), as well as your time slot on December 5th or 6th to return your gifts.

Volunteers

There are several ways you can help with the Angel Tree this year. In addition to adopting someone and purchasing a present, you can assist in the following ways:

· Help with gift drop-off and organization
· Help when families come to church to pick up their gifts (for privacy reasons this is for adult volunteers only)

Carole Salgado

In Carole’s role as the Director of Serve she strives to make sure that Arcola is active in our community, both locally and beyond. She came to Arcola in 2014 and immediately began singing in the choir; soon after she expanded her church involvement by helping Arcola provide support to several of the local schools. Her passion for helping under privileged children, along with management skills she honed as the founder and president of a local company – Red Team Consulting – complement each other as she works to find ways for Arcola to share God’s love throughout the community. Carole, her husband Joe, and teenage son Zac live in Brambleton with their adorable beagle – Basile. They love travelling together, where the only difficult part about being away from home is leaving Basile behind.
