Parents of Teens and Tweens
Join parents of Arcola with kids 5th-12th grades for an opportunity to connect and share experiences about parenting. Our goal is to create a safe space where we can learn, share, and grow together while raising teens and tweens. This group is being led by Laura Mathurin and Audra Weisberg. All are welcome!
This month we welcome guest speaker, Susan Kouzel, RD, CEDS. Her presentation is titled "The Elephant in the Room: Confidently Talking to Adolescents About Body Image." It focuses on navigating adolescent body image issues, eating disorder prevention, and cultivating self worth in our youth.
