Winter Care Packages for Young Adults

Thank you for your support of the Young Adult Winter Care Packages. Your generosity enabled us to provide 100 packages to Mobile Hope and 17 to Arcola Youth. Thank you for showing God's love in the cold, often depressing, days of winter.

There is still time to register to support the Mobile Hope "Listen for the Honk" program on Tuesday, February 25. Volunteers will assist Mobile Hope staff in handing out food, diapers, clothing and prepared meals to struggling youth and their famililes. Click here for additional information. Please meet in the Big Lots parking lot in Sterling at 5:45pm. The address is 300 Enterprise St., Sterling, VA 20164. You must be 18 years or older and be a high school graduate. Deborah Taylor

Deborah joined the Arcola staff in July 2023 as the Director of Serve. In her role, she strives to ensure Arcola is active in the community, both locally and beyond. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Randolph Macon College and her Masters in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University.

At Arcola, Deborah led Women’s Bible Studies and the Moms with Teens & Tweens group. Since fall of 2018, she’s stayed in touch with the needs of the local community in her role as Family Liaison with Loudoun County Public Schools. Deborah, her husband Jim and their two boys, Brent & Hunter live in South Riding. She enjoys traveling, time with her family and reading.
