Winter Care Packages for Young Adults

Arcola's Launch group and Serve Team are collaborating to support young adults in church and community with Winter Care Packages. Make a donation or purchase physical items for care packages for young adults at Arcola and at-risk young adults through Mobile Hope. We have over 100 total to care for. Make donations and see the full care package details below.

Parents~ if you would like your young adult (18-24 years old) to receive a package, please register no later than Wednesday, February 5th. We request that parents pick up the package for their child on Sunday, February 23rd. Young adults are welcome to request and pick up a package for themselves!

There are 2 ways to contribute:
1. Financially - needed for items that are not on the Amazon wish list including Walmart gift cards for Mobile Hope bags and food from Costco.

About the Author

Deborah Taylor

Deborah joined the Arcola staff in July 2023 as the Director of Serve. In her role, she strives to ensure Arcola is active in the community, both locally and beyond. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Randolph Macon College and her Masters in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University.

At Arcola, Deborah led Women’s Bible Studies and the Moms with Teens & Tweens group. Since fall of 2018, she’s stayed in touch with the needs of the local community in her role as Family Liaison with Loudoun County Public Schools. Deborah, her husband Jim and their two boys, Brent & Hunter live in South Riding. She enjoys traveling, time with her family and reading.
