Summer in the Arts Musical Drama Camp

The Summer in the Arts Musical Drama Camp for rising 7th - 12th graders will meet July 20-24 from 9am-5pm, and perform Madagascar, Jr. at the end of the week! This camp will include a workshop on July 14 from 4:30-6:30pm to go over songs and talk about what to expect in auditions. Auditions to be held July 15 and 16 from 4:30-7:30pm, and ALL campers will be cast! There will be a separate sign-up for this. There will be two performances of Madagascar,Jr: Friday, July 24 at 7pm & Saturday, July 25 at 11am.
Cost is $325 per student (This includes auditions, workshop, 9-5pm camp, dinner Friday night, t-shirt, and processing fees). Early Bird Registration is $300 until March 1. Scholarships available upon request and available to individuals and families who can demonstrate economic hardship. Contact Deborah Taylor if needed.
In our summer drama camp, students who elect to be a part of the tech camp will learn about stage design, set construction, lighting effects, prop building, and immersive storytelling of the theatre. Students will assist in designing, building, and painting stage flats and props, as well as take on the roles of stage crew during the performances through moving set pieces, managing props, and changing scenes. Max capacity is 4. Cost is $325. Early Bird Registration is $300 until March 1.
There are no refunds after July 1.
