Summer in the Arts Orchestra Adventures Camp
Upcoming Camp Events
This week long camp is for the orchestra student with 2+ years experience on their instrument (violin, viola, or cello), and will be on a beginner or advanced track. In the mornings, students will learn music from various genres and develop their ensemble skills. In the afternoons, students will attend electives in either strings or other disciplines, like drama, dance, guitar, ukulele, photography, and more! (Elective selections take place in June). Students in Orchestra Adventures are encouraged to choose the string electives and can even sign up for beginner boot camp electives as peer leaders. Camp traditions like water day and other fun activities are scattered throughout the week. Before and after care are available! No refunds after July 1.

Meet the Instructors
Ashley Driscoll
My name is Ashley Driscoll, and this summer I will instruct Orchestra Adventures, the Beginning Strings elective, and the Adult Evening Cello class. Currently I am the Orchestra Director at Independence High School in Brambleton. Within the Loudoun community, I have taught public school orchestra and served as a youth symphony conductor to students in elementary through high school, and have taught private cello lessons to students from age five through retirement. Music is a wonderful way to express ourselves, connect with others, and attain personal goals. I look forward to making music with this year’s program!
