Primarily, Jonah is remembered for being swallowed by “a huge fish.” But besides his run-in with enormous aquatic life, Jonah is relatable: he’s judgmental, literally prays from the depths, his priorities are out of whack, and he runs away from God’s call. But God still does incredible work through and within Jonah! You’re invited to be challenged by and grow through Arcola’s new sermon series which dives into the book of Jonah, considering it in light of current global circumstances and the environment in our own hearts. The series begins September 6, and we’ll explore one chapter together each Sunday, with a special devotion from an Arcola member each week!
