Getting connected at Arcola Church is about relationships that get beneath the surface. That kind of relationship won’t come by simply attending worship services. All of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us to pursue Jesus Christ.
Adult study groups provide a welcoming community of Christian learners and are a great way to grow in faith while practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ. We offer on-going groups and short-term studies. Find a group that matches your interests and schedule.
Our Men's Ministry brings men together in a community of fellowship, outreach, and learning. We build men who are fully devoted followers of Christ. We have many ways to connect: attend the next Men's Dinner, Men's Retreat, participate in a Men’s Bible Study, a Men's Small Study Group Study, join the Arcola Brotherhood of Hikers or sign up for the Softball Team or Basketball Team. If you are interested in receiving a weekly e-devotional, email Jon McHenry. Contact Rich Goodwyn for all information on the men's ministries at Arcola Church.
Our Women's Ministry brings women together in a community of fellowship, outreach, and learning. There are many ways to connect such as our women's retreats, Women's studies or fellowship groups, attend the next Women's Brunch, or check out the Women's Ministry Facebook page.
The Marriage Ministry works with couples of all ages and life stages to enhance marriage relationships. We offer various programs and events throughout the year including The Growing in Grace Marriage Dinner and a monthly Dates with a Purpose program.
FOCUS (Focused on Christ United Singles) is for unmarried, divorced or widowed singles looking to gather together to explore life and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The singles group usually meets once a month. Contact Betsy Hudson for more information.
The Legends provides a monthly opportunity for members and friends, ages 55 and older, to gather for good conversation, interesting speakers, programs and wonderful music. Lunch is provided. RSVP for our next luncheon.
The Arcola Social Groups are open to all adults and they are a way to build community. Our Arcola Walking Group meets the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. The Arcola Supper Club is due to start meeting Fall of 2017 -- contact Mary Krygiel by May 15 if you are interested.
