Women's Groups

Women's Daytime Bible Study: This small group studies and discusses a different scripture at each meeting. This school year we’re working our way through Paul’s letters and discussing how God wants us to live and how to incorporate God into our daily living. New members are always welcome and no preparation is required.
     o Meets at rotating member's homes the 1st & 3rd Mondays at 12:45-2:15pm.
     o Leaders:
Jenny Early & Sara Bowie

Women’s Fellowship Group: The Women’s Group provides an opportunity for women in the church to gather for the purposes of fellowship, study, and service as they seek to grow in Christ. There will be fellowship opportunities early in the year as the group looks forward to engaging with one another in service projects. There will also be occasions where the group studies and learns together. Women of all ages are welcome.
o Meets the 2nd Monday of each month between September and May, with a few exceptions for holidays and special programs
     o Leaders:
Molly Riedel & Carolyn Balcom

Mom’s Group: This group brings mothers of young children together in a Christian atmosphere where children can play and moms can visit. The group holds a playgroup every other Wednesday. On the last Tuesday of the month, they have a Mom's Night Out. The group also provides a great network of other moms to draw on for advice and support (in person and through email). Throughout the year the group plans a few child-friendly outings and may also participate in mission projects. Moms can attend whenever their schedules permit; the group is very flexible and does not require attendance at every meeting. All moms are welcome, but most children present will be 4 and under.
    o Meets in Chapel B bi-weekly from 9:30 - 11am on Wednesdays.
    o Leaders:
Suzanne Lyles

Women’s Book Group: Ladies, do you sometimes feel lost in the whirlwind of life, need a support group, or long for adult conversation and friendship? If so, then join us for the Thursday night women’s book group. This group of women enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer, and study which enables each member to form new relationships and cultivate friendships, pray for the joys and concerns of family, friends, and church members, and reflect on the word of God and the wisdom and principles expressed by a variety of Christian authors. Each bible or book study we do has a positive impact on our lives and brings us to a more meaningful and closer walk with God. Join us for a refreshing time together as we read, relax, reflect, and respond to a wide-range of topics, and continue on our individual journeys of faith.
o Meets in Chantilly at 7pm on Thursdays.
     o Leaders:
Tina Moss & Linda Turnau
