Arcola United Methodist Church

Katrina Relief Mission

Each year, Arcola UMC sends a group of volunteers to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to help with rebuilding and recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. 

       
Our volunteers work in conjunction with the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church and UMCOR.  The work involved includes all aspects of new home construction and reconstruction of homes severely damaged by wind and water from the hurricane.  No prior construction experience is necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older.
